This is inspired by my twin sister ... A dedication

When the sunset queen sings, jinxed Jasmines wither, and~ primrose willows quiver, unfurling clemency in ivory sliver. When the sunset queen sings, wailing waves pause in awe sea-fairies waltz through haze, twirling to tuscan tunes, flipping turmeric rays. When the sunset queen sings, nightingales sigh and trill, as moon pearls soar above cinnamon glazed ripples, ferrying psalms of love. When the sunset queen sings, first star of twilight bleeds flaming lilies of heart~ inking dusky dreamscapes with mellifluous art.

Dear Ink, Congratulations on your success with a poem that both illuminates and inspires in its exquisite hue-encrusted brilliance. Each line a sparkling diamond with your eternally gifted command of environment portrayal. A literary feast. I especially loved - “When the sunset queen sings, nightingales sigh and trill” and “inking dusky dreamscapes with mellifluous art.” Your reflections on But Reflection Is I found extraordinarily kind and informative. A real beauty. I am reserving my own monchielle stanza for the time there is a contest without a glitch on me. The wicked witch of the East put a spell on that contest for me. Or is it the witch of the West?

"as moon pearls soar above cinnamon glazed ripples", "first star of twilight bleeds flaming lilies of heart~" I'm swooning over the gentle flow that you've created here.. It just feels like a delicious dessert lol... Sooo good! The rhymes are impeccable and you've excelled this form while sticking to the syllable count so well! Best of luck to you for the contest, I loveeeee this :)

This is a beautiful personification of sunset. Sunsets always make me sad because they are leaving.

I love sunsets and, therefore, found the notion of a 'sunset queen' delightful, almost mesmerizing! I found the imagery captivating and liked 'flipping turmeric rays'--so accurate. Now you've got me thinking about the spices in my pantry and how I can use them to spice up my poetry. Thank you for that. Smiles & hugs Sara
