Sunset Rewards
I hope you enjoy thinking back to the simple life,
To the things you remember from when you were young.
But the good times ahead you will share with your wife
In your house on the hill and the trees you’re among.
You have built your home where you’d like to retire,
Nestled in beautiful Arizona scenery.
The sunrises and sunsets give their all to inspire,
Showing all their colors for you and her to see.
You’ve done a lot of things in your life that you can be proud of.
You’ve worked hard and helped others along the way.
There have been ups and downs, but a life full of love
Is something you’ve shown others how to repay.
The spring of your life gave you a lot of friends
And the summer of your life has kept you out of the cold.
Now that the fall of your life is coming to an end,
In the winter of your life, I hope you never feel old.
