Island of Fantasy

sun is hanging ten as we ride sea's rolling waves. . . . a paradise found sun spreads marmalade in our late warm afternoon. . . . the sky eats it up twilight's sky drips red a tryst whispered on the wind. . . we embrace the night

Oh,...okay...Hang Ten, girl....I get it now. Thanks for the explanation. I think there used to be a clothing line or T shirt company named Hang Ten too. My poor memory is waning. I like your haiku entry bc u tried to touch on more than one thot and encompassed everything PD was throwing out there! I can always expect to be mentally stretched while reading your work...Gwendolen

Such fun and inviting scenes in your triple dipple haiku, Andrea. What does hang ten reference? It sounds sooo familiar. Been very busy working and with skool...there are soooo many contests which is great...gives all these poets something fun to do. I can only enter a couple...don't even have time to post much. I will read more as time allows...great to read your work again. Luv, Gwendolen.
