Sunset Crystals

Sunsets are like gemstones tossed into a lake made of sky, Skipping amethyst, quartz and cat's eye across the horizon's tide. Diffracted photons from the sinking sun shoot as though shot from a pistol, Beams of bullets shatter the chandelier of the scattered incandescent crystals.
