Sunset - Death Of My Father Minichu

By the sunset, you were ploughed In a new tableau of color for every sun's new goodbye— Life's bright glow on my skin fades now. On my face, faith has known better days— Smoothed stones— a walk through the past; Wringed like my hands in his picture's pain. Running track Light cast Set aback By the sunset, you were ploughed, Smoothed stones— a walk through the past, Set aback. ---- Watching his tears the day after in sunset rain, God, guard the course... No timeless room for new blame. His ghostly squeeze now with my heart— For his endearing hope in me snatched, By his fire's ending of the dark. Likewise glass Sun catch Lasts Watching his tears the day after in sunset rain, For his endearing hope in me snatched Lasts.

Was his death recent, Paige? Sorry for your loss. I recall writing a poem for my stepdad when he died over 15 years ago. My biological dad passed away around four years ago, and I felt privileged to get to go to his state for the funeral. I was not close with him, so I can imagine how much more painful must be the death of a father if they are very dear to your heart. This is so heart wrenching. A wonderful poem

To live on in his footsteps with love, there is no greater honor, that could be given to a father! To carry someone's heart and soul within you past their life is what it means to be a father's child. With loving condolence. A.S.

Dear Paige, The imagery you crafted evokes profound emotions, stirring memories of loss and love. The way you paint the sunset as both a symbol of beauty and of the passage of time is hauntingly beautiful. Your words capture the essence of grief, of holding onto memories, and of finding peace in the remnants of what once was. This is excellent in showing this piece of your soul with the world. - Blessings, Daniel
