Sunrise of your love

I wearily stroll
through the damp grass
this early morning
leaving glistening footprints
in my wake as I wish
upon the final evening star
in the sky that once again
my heart may be warmed
by the sunrise of your love

Title reminded me of the sunshine of your love, was that Clapton or Cream? Any way a beautiful poem full of imagery, I felt like I was there welcoming the new day, classic write Chris.
