Sunrise In Pastels
I see the pastel colors,
Brightening the horizon of the morn.
I see the strokes of genius,
As broad undertones adorn.
There’s something about painting,
That seems to catch the eye.
From the magic of the art,
When the paint becomes dry.
Monet sketched out his vision,
And on a frame it shall dwell.
For he painted it to canvas,
Entitled sunrise in pastels.
