Sunny Rays

Sunny rays across the field,
Trees acting as a shield,
Cattails blowing in the breeze,
If you get too close, you'll feel the need to sneeze.

Sunny rays dancing in the meadow,
Illuminating ev'rything, except in shadow.
The smell of seasalt in the air,
Aroma and wind whipping my hair.

Sunny rays throughout the clearing,
Doe and deer nearing;
Coming close to drink from the lake,
Careful and alert with each step they take.

Sunny rays, sunny rays,
Animals playing during the days.
