Sunlight's Sundown

sunlight’s stairway shimmers just at sundown
                       magical music measures each step kept
                             the waters glow in a glorious golden crown
                                  sunlight’s stairway shimmers just at sundown
                                      so stars can surprise as twilight's evening gown
                        and the final majestic moments are wept
                             sunlight’s stairway shimmers just at sundown
