Sunlight
~~ Sunlight~~
Today it finally felt like Spring.
The sunlight, a joy to behold.
It was so warm and welcoming
And totally dispelled the cold.
Heaven sent, if truth be told.
Sunlight beams upon the land
And thaws the cold, cold earth below.
Bidding blossoms to take their stand,
Encouraging the flowers to grow.
It's time for Spring to put on her show.
The sun warmed breeze upon my face
Is like a lover's long forgotten touch.
Of yesterday's storm, no longer a trace.
I've missed this sunlight, oh, so much.
The sun's warm rays, a caress, as such.
