Sunflowers Smile

SUNFLOWERS SMILE

           Yellow Petals shine golden,
           silently smile to praise
           bright Sun if not hidden
           behind clouds. Sunflowers gaze.

           Flowers gaily gaze raising heads.
Sun roams slow from East to West.
           Clouds float displaying shades.
           Flowers seek sunbeam till sunset.

Being in quest of sun ray
dim or bright, flowers are smart to turn
           heads throughout the day
always facing the dazzling shining Sun.

           Mild touch by gentle breeze
           shakes glossy glistening shy flowers
as if wind just tries to tease
           flowers loved by sunbeam showers
