Sunday awakens, stretches her arms It's sunny outside, the air's laden with charms Can it really be October already? Sure enough, yet delight's holding steady The morning is warm and inviting The skies are clear-blue, on a kite-string Birds are still chirping, the green grass yet sings Oh, let winter come without warning between ~ Gershon Wolf, October 03, 2021 ~

Yep, GW. Let winter come and let's get it over with! (chuckling) I've got some trips south lined up for this winter and a niece wants me to come spend winter in central Florida. I'll probably go there for a couple of weeks. Your poem was delightful, friend. I have missed your daily visits!
