Sun Set As the Son Sat
Sun Set As the Son Sat
By MEH3
As the sun set
The son sat
Realizing that he has so much left
Even as the sun set
But the son sat there wondering what's next
He was so caught up in the beauty that he saw as the sun set
Never realizing the potential that he had
Until the son sat
But he was so paralyzed by the sunset
Wishing he had someone to share this moment with staring off at the sunset
Than he noticed
He was like a rose
That hasn't even bud yet
Sitting there waiting just to be next
The next one to blossom
And be on exhibit
But the son concluded that he was still in the unfurling stages
Just trying to open up next
And allow his buds to set
As the sun set the son understood that in order to blossom
He had to watch what he fed his rose plant
Because too much fertilization
Could only lead to death
So as the son sat he became wise
He thought….
In order to make a rose sprout
He couldn't be blinded by the beauty of that rose plant
Because pruning is vital part of that rose success
Remembering to nurture his rose
Especially, before the sun set
Because even though a black rose is special
It still represents death
So the son sat his mind on courage
Because he never realized what a rose meant
As the son thought
In order to grow
he has to be ready for the sun to set
Because tomorrow's sunrise will only allow the sun to set....
Think about it
Make sure you feed yourself the correct things you need in order to grow
Because sometimes we feed ourselves not knowing
That it may lead to death
So step back for a minute
And realize that watering that plant leads to success
And we all want to grow, we all need to grow
Allowing others to see our success
From A little seed
That was planted in the ground
Not knowing how it would grow
But the son was being patient to see his rose success
The son planted these seeds to allow God to water his rose plant
As the son continues to pray
That He allows him to grow
Each and every day
So, as the son sit on the beach
And watch the sun set
He realize that
God is not done with him yet
