sun in your eyes
Sun in your eyes
in the white sea of sun-bleached straws
I saw a crow struggle and drown
in the glare
I was given a chance to see and hear
intimately to know
an eddy of hot water hotter than lava
running down the drain
the Australian way
This was hell, escaped.
From the struggle of the past...Dancing
in obscene sexuality
I heard the raw laughter from the mouth
of a toothless whore
like gaping sores of syphilis
I also heard sweet music
In the evening
I was salvaged by a crow
