Sun

sunlight hits the morning dew and I'm reminded of the sparkle shining in your eye an endless smile of admiration beaming down into the deepest recesses of this aching soul

I hear Winter is approaching over there. Summer's already here, heatwave. I bought two new bathing costumes yesterday. Balmoral, morning swims commence. It's going to be a scorcher. Bushfire season fast approaches. I hope with not the same extent of horror that has hit other places globally this year. Our bushfires are notoriously ferocious and brutal when they do run riot.

I was all set to leave you a "it would be nice to see more of you here" but Jan's message mirrors my thoughts about you. Times change but people don't, not when friends are still happy to see each other. I still feel the same melancholy longing in your poetry... wishing someone worthy of winning your heart would knock on your door. Hugs.
