Summertime
summertime is the time for lots of fun
A time for the warmth of the sun.
A ride in the country on your bike
Swimming in the community pool, take a hike.
Family vacations to the mountains or faraway lands
time to work on your golden tan.
Time to sleep in or just kick back
go to the fishing hole with Jack.
Roll down the window in your car
get out your telescope look at the stars.
Play a game, run barefoot in the grass
wishing summertime could stay forever and not pass.
