Summer’s Sparkling Journey

Swinging, sideways we two, in a striped hammock.
Green, grand, leaves that grinned, engraving our love on
summer’s clock.

Hearts, your hands, holding our summer’s warm heaven.
Wishing, wanting, now, to be, excited and thirteen again.

Graceful, gravel beneath our soft feet at eve.
Mr. Moon's magical, romantic secret, mystery,

That desirous, tan glow on your face, ever melodically sweet.
Delicious, delightful, lips that ever so full, did softly meet.

Secretly, did, we, like Romeo and Juliet, did in barefoot feet,
Meet so soft.
Sparking stars, observed us, under moon glass, kiss under stars,
aloft!

Hi my dear friend! Its funny isnt it! How many read only a poetslatest poem! It makes me smile as if poems were like fresh bread and the other 3,400 have gone stale? Deb M reads some of old poems. We all read the great poets do we not? Is Shakespeare old bread? I wrote everyday for five years. But,….aging has slowed me down, tY for a very beautiful Comment, 105 here hugs, Pangie

Ah G! LoL, I am forever infatuated at 85! That is wild. It never ends. No, I dont look like a young teen! But have the heart of a youth forever. I never wanted to be part of the adult world, and my wish came true. Even being married,a Mom and a grandmother. My silliness, giggling, at the seriousness of adults separates me from them. Send new body ASAP! “Young at Heart,” do carve on my headstone,.Please, never let me try to impress anyone here.my life has been chock full of miracles. T,.Y. Pangiexx

Lol, Hida! As one of my readers, you should know that most of my poetry is about how I captured my youth. Well how do I do that writing poetry and some of my memories are very vivid. No I can’t be 12 years old again.. but a large part of me is 12 years old. I have no interest in writing about mushrooms and I don’t live in the clouds, but I haved libec an incredibly vivid life. I know you know that because you appreciate my San Francisco poetry. I can still see the pod., I know what it’s like to walk the hills. Good music and lyrics are very much about the past being relived.. only my opinion Hilda. That’s the kind of poetry. I can write. I can’t write funny stuff I don’t live in the clouds or amongst the mushrooms so you won’t find me writing about that.. I appreciate you very much. I have been very busy this week so hopefully I’ll get back to poetry but but not as much.. Shalom, Pangie

Thank you Paula, this was about my teen summer… i am hardly a teen. But I loved summers and did not want them to end. They always do. Nothing in life.Is permanent …..save love. Fall is wonderful here, summer ends in October where I reside, no snow here either, love my orange tree. Shalom. Pangie xxxxx
