In the golden heat of summer's embrace, Where love's sweet whispers hang upon the air, Two souls entwined, their hearts set to efface, All doubts and fears, a love beyond compare. Upon the sandy shores, they danced and played, Their laughter mingling with the ocean's roar, Each stolen moment, memories were made, A love so pure, forever to adore. But fate, a cruel mistress, had her say, As summer's warmth turned cold, the skies grew gray, Death's icy hand reached out, took one away, Leaving the other lost, in disarray.
