Summer's Curtain

The curtain of summer approaches now
It is knitted in the green of the trees
Flowers are saying goodbye with a wow!

Petals will fall and fly afar with breeze
Vibrant color will decorate the land
It is knitted in the green of the trees

Sea will bring coolness to the beach’s sand
Wildlife will gather food, they are smart
Vibrant color will decorate the land

Strawberries now gone, for an apple tart
Nourishing food comforts us, as we know
Wildlife will gather food, they are smart

The curtain can come down for the new show
We’re grateful and ready to watch it all
Nourishing food comforts us, as we know

We leave humidity to wear our shawl
The curtain of summer approaches now
We’re grateful and ready to watch it all
