Summer Under Gentle Skies
Soon the sun still shines,
high in the quiet blue sky,
while whispers of worry
softly pass us by.
Mighty little children
still long to laugh and play,
holding on to moments
of light every day.
Though the world feels heavy,
and hearts may pause in fear,
we find our peace and comfort
knowing we are safe here.
Grateful for this shelter,
for watchful care so strong,
for guiding hands that keep us
protected all along.
And as the days grow brighter,
with hope, we choose to stay
like children in the sunlight,
still ready, still brave each day.
