Summer Sunset

Huge tangerine clouds drift as the sun fades,
I watch gulls dip and dive on thermals high;
Frantic wings beat fast when the flock cascades.

such gorgeous hues of subtle orange shades,
Swift ebon shadows flit across the sky.
