Listen to poem:
Novalunosis: the state of wonderment while gazing at stars
On a summer moonless night
when peace has settled and is still
the stars across the vaulted sky
no doubt is the most majestic sight
Much like a beacon calling out
its pull I feel tugs at my heart
there’s some connection that’s most primal
~ can’t really say what it’s about
I stand in speechless reverence and awe
and marvel at the universe’s vast expanse
my modest role is part of one big masterplan
~ there’s no other conclusion I can draw
