Summer She Had Was Her Last and More
we did look downcast
summer she had was her last
became part of past
future will unfold
God gave comfort to the old
only truth has told
flowers are planted
for them to bloom God granted
picture of painted
he slept in small shack
biden never blew his stack
would give us much slack
by God was renewed
had gratitude for attitude
with much latitude
by God am well trained
with Him have always remained
while I felt the rain
God much comfort brings
He gave me great things
church choir which sings
prayed much must admit
God let new appliance fit
no longer a slave
from God all of His love gave
home for free and brave
people did provoke
while God the fire would stoke
smoke caused us to choke
God said should not wait
we might end up being late
trying to find mate
