Summer Rispetto
The sky is a lovely robin's egg bright blue,
and the wind so wild it steals my golden hair.
The summer market- full of things farmer's grew,
there is a sweet delicious smell in the air;
of vegetables for my summer eating.
Each summer day is beauty but is fleeting!
I rest on an old bench- pigeons visit me,
proudly strutting then a loud noise and they flee.
