Summer Love
***Summer Love***
Summer’s pulse - hopelessly romantic heartbeat -
Opens wide winter’s barren lifeless places
Aroused in solstice fields of bare petals sweet -
Unlocked naked delight spread open, effaces.
I sink into the warm depths of your passion
Going down in moonlit ecstasy complete
Mounting in hot breaths undulating fashion
Hands gently stroke trebling veins of inflamed heat.
Disappear in depthless summer’s velvet sky
Joined in one breath beneath the swelling stars
Long past midsummer’s heat intensified
Lost in one flashing surge of shooting stars afar
Summer love mellows into fall’s throbbing caress -
Harvest summer’s fruitful ardor tenderness.
"Trebling" = triple or the highest part of the vocal range
