Summer Love

Mild Millie makes castles in the hot summer sand She tightens her shoulders and hides her big feet Off the dunes the winds howl across uneven land As I make my way onto the beach braving the heat I can see Millie all alone sitting on a striped blanket Her long legs pulled in and her smile is so sweet While seagulls hover around her, she lightly blushes The sand is hot and I rush to her to gladly greet Millie, usually colder than ice held me in her clutches She kissed me and changed from an ice cream treat Into a warm loving girl more like a breakfast sweet And each day is like romance in a honeymoon suite
