Summer In the Country

Berries on a vine
in bright sunshine.
Gravel on a road.
A fat green toad
glistens in the light,
waits for cool of night,
croaks one flat note
only frogs could quote.

Hi Leo, one special moment in summer captured so well in these lines. Love those flat notes they croak! :)
