Notes About The Poem

Listen to poem:

Summer In Amber

Oh, the of zest in days of summer
take a bite
these bright lemon bars

Preserved in amber, memories
of moon and stars
yours

Please pass your plate to me
I'll fill it with tastes
you almost forgot

Hear the song of that sweet voice?
music so rich
all ours!

Don't you do it..
don't let go the summer
w'out lips wet
in ripe juices

Tango's long tawny legs
leave me longing
for more

Preserved in amber, memories
of moon and stars
yours

Mystic Rose Rose, Thank you, I really don't want to ever make perfect sense. After the fashion of Coleridge's Or, a vision in a dream. 'Xanadu did Kubla Khan A stately pleasure-dome decree: ~~ Where Alph, the sacred river, ran Through caverns measureless to man Down to a sunless sea. ' -Richard
