summer has come

dappled sunlight ~
lands on my shoulder
as I sip my morning tea
lingers a while then softly drifts away
leaving a warm familiar scent

When morning sunshine's warmth stays it also leaves comfort. Such an excellent verse my dear poet friend JCB. I enjoyed this gem a lot. Thanks for sharing. Good luck always. God bless. Hugs

Goosebumps here, but I don't know why, if I should expect to know, or am I to visit all the why's of my own accumulation. Hope so, cause I felt them. Good job, a living write. Sent you a soupy.

We are left to ponder "what's next" by this poetic work. Excellent ideas. The reader is also left contemplating ideas, clinging to whatever they may find.
