That is it! The Passion flower as it climbs the trees skyward for just a drop of rain from the leaves! Delightful! Congratulations!

Thank you Sara. Actually I have not seen a pink blossom like the one pictured, but I believe they grow in the south of the USA. My little granddaughter is bugging me to take her to Costco and shopping, so more comments will have to wait. Cheers, Connie ; )

My brother told me about Lilikoi on his trip back from Hawaii ... he told me they were an edible fruit that (if I remember correctly) were either red or white, and sorta reminded him of an almond ...

Yes, the fruit is usually made into a drink. I haven't seen a pink flower here. I think they grow in the Southern US. Thanks Timothy. ; )

Suggestive of a lovely smell, after a good rainfall. I adore the pictures that this haiku conjures, Connie. A fine haiku.

Thank you Timothy. We have a lot if Passion flowers here in Hawaii, however they are actually called Lilikoi here, but for poetry purposes I chose to call it a Passion flower. ; )

What a lovely suggestive haiku this is, Connie! I've had passion flowers creeping up the façade of my house, but never pink ones like the one you mention here. I can sense not only steamy rain, but also steamy seduction! #7 ~ Warm regards // paul

Thank you Paul. The scent is fragrant, a bit like Jasmine. They do tend to grow wildly, but got their name from the passion of Christ. Interesting, if you google it. Blessings, Connie ; )
