Summer Gods

Nightly battles by Titans
screens lightly flicker
life at a standstill
audiences fall loud to silent upon a drop
brotherhood and sisterhood under banners of wind
hammering drums
lustrous chants
loss is uninvited
we all cling on for the win
visible morning realities of decay and rubish
surrounded by godly stories of glorious figures
inspiration gives birth to future dreamers

Classical Panther, this looks like your first poem on Poetry Soup. Nicely done. I look forward to reading more of your poetry. Welcome to the Soup!
