This is my first ever sonnet entry. I appreciate the coaching from Andrea. Without her help, this would not have been possible and I would be still complaining how hard it is to write a sonnet. Thanks Andrea.

Is a rose of red, or white just a rose? they have the scent to hypnotize us all, some flowers’ scent like jasmine's is intense, reminds me of romance in the nightfall. Beauty of the orchid, lei and ginger, Appreciated by a butterfly, Also loved, how intricate their figure! spellbound, they hover and adore, and fly. I walk around my garden and my field, Admire petunias and marigold, the birds of paradise - divine their path, Daisies, dahlias bring heaven to this earth. Sunflower and pansy look so pretty, feel like watching them in summer daily.

Beautiful sonnet, though it is your maiden attempt ! I am sure you have a beautiful garden. I have one suggestion.... make the third stanza rhyme.... ef ef.
