Summer Blues

Summer Blues

Wish you were here to ease my fear,
So near but so far wherever you are,
My heart's reaching out to the stars,
Oh vast sky, you're kind to this lost soul,
Can you promise to heal my aching pain?
Can you warm up this old, cold spirit?

The grit of autumn pushes down the sun,
As the flowers have lost their fragrances,
Blue lagoon, you swoon over the horizon,
Far beyond my eyes, vast and wide yonder,

Over the azure sea and wavering water,
Along the shores of golden beaches,
As the tides roll on white sand beneath,
I can hear the foaming waves rollicking,
Blasting against solid rocks,

Between a long path with cypress trees,
I stand and wait, and waiting for you,
Where the sun sets, far beyond the blue sky,
Long ago moon, soon will turn to rainbow hues,
Summer blues, I am still here waiting for you,
Summer blues, I am here, dear sweet love...

Beautiful, it reads like lyrics to be honest :) Great imagery in your poem. I just can see it happen... I only hope you don't have to wait for much longer
