Summer Beauty

Natural beauty that makes eyes glisten with love, lust, desire 
Makes hearts beat faster, fear, ache, break, fall in love
An inner beauty of spirit and kindness, giving, wanting to please 
Wanting to be loved, fearing rejection, heart breaking, wondering why
Too gentle to understand true jealousy and envy 
Too trusting, always giving, making people happy
Whilst inside aching, wondering why me 
Just wanting to be happy, to please
Holding nothing for herself, only an emptiness
Beautiful words pour from her pen
Fuelled by her longing and heartache
Yet the smile remains, with eyes you want to fall into
The dream of many, who don’t see the sadness
The dream of one, who see's all.
