Summer

A new sun is dawning
There's a glistening in the sky
Mother hens are chirping
As Magpies learn to fly

Children are on bicycles
New love is in the air
Ice cream stalls and fresh fruit
Summer is everywhere.

Hello Mockingbird... we're supposed to have summer now but it's been cool, windy and a little wet, but as you stated in your poem, we'll have it all soon - Lindsay

A delightful, cheerful write! Good rhyming and your lines flow smoothly - not choppy. Keep on writing! Love, Kim
