Sultry Sunrise Triolet

I quill whilst in a moment still,
I long to ink the sunrise pink,
capture shades of rapturous thrill.
I quill whilst in a moment still,
magentas petaled pleated frill,
floral painted in rosette-zinc.
I quill whilst in a moment still,
I long to ink the sunrise pink.

High fives and congratulations on your winning triolet, Anaya! So dreamy as the sunrise inspires you to remember it and give it life through your words. I am enchanted by your words, images and interior rhyme! Blessings to you along with a hug!

I read below your problematic dangling participles, here's mine: Last night I shot a possum in my pajamas, I don't know what the possum was doing in my pajamas! lol. You went with the flow while keeping your ink fluid. Good Job! Robert

I love the line because I was going through a pink period in painting, & thought it was made just for me. I made my final finish & am about to enter it into the contest! Smiles, Ty sweet Anne.

Yes, plenty are coming your way, Alison. I've not penned one since " Baneful Sonnets" for Emile Pinet...it was more difficult than I thought, looking forward to yours??? Ha. Blessings (the pic is so beautiful, will still paint my own rendition). ;D
