Sullen Moon
Gail Doyle
Contest Name A Tropical Theme
Under The Moonlight
A sullen Moon excludes the gloom,
The red sun slowly drops,
From ship to shore, I’ve swam miles an more,
She’s sinking on the rocks,
Nothing to eat, the sun aint sweet,
My thirst is burning till,
A coconut, comes a rolling down,
Perhaps I’ll drink, I will?
The rock does crack,
I just went wack,
To drink and eat my fill,
No others lived,
voiced we forgive,
Alone at last, until?
