Suicide

Mother I stood at the hillside
Watching from afar off
I saw images of rope
Which gave mankind no hope.
Children were dying
Mothers were crying
Heaven, ‘it was terrifying’
These images were horrifying.
Images of pain
Pressed against the victim’s window pane
Heaven remove the innocent blood stains.
Images of death
Written on their faces
Got me praying
Father I need to start preaching.
Suicide I am testifying
You are misleading
You are deceiving
You know you are dividing.
No need to start collecting
Women of pain
Children of fear
Men of stress, be warned
‘Suicide’, is the devil game.

Thank you, Eve it's always nice to receive compliments or critic from my fellow poets and readers as I believe its the only way I can improve. This poem was inspired by a teacher friend who had asked me to write a poem about Suicide so once again I am glad you liked it.
