Suddenly Swans
White winsome swans swimming in
Unison across the linden laced lake,
Petals floating in water's wake as
Wild wings flutter and they soft speak
To each other in lover's lilting lyrics.
Sun shines in the glory of the morn as
Soft mist dissipates into azure atmosphere.
Poignant placid memories murmur as suddenly
Swans stir the heart in resonant reveries
As long necks embrace entwined euphorically.
