Suddenly Swans White winsome swans swimming in Unison across the linden laced lake, Petals floating in water's wake as Wild wings flutter and they soft speak To each other in lover's lilting lyrics. Sun shines in the glory of the morn as Soft mist dissipates into azure atmosphere. Thank you Andrea. When I saw this picture it reminded me of the elephants and how they intertwine their trunks when greeting their friends they love. I hope the ending of my poem doesn't keep me off the winners list. It is life! : ) xxoo

Connie I love swans. They are so filled with grace and beauty which you depicted in your imagery as they moved across the lake. Lovely piece well done. I didn't like the hunters interrupting such a peaceful scene.

Hello Connie … swans are such graceful birds. Ours are black swans but don't appear quite as graceful as the white swan, but get near their nest, and it's you who appears graceful in flight - an elegant verse Connie - Lindsay

We have only black swans bere in Hawaii too Lindsay. I remember how elegant the white swans in Ireland looked...picture perfect. Thank you my friend.: )

Thank you Constance. We have beautiful black swans here in Hawaii. My granddaughters have fed them with open hand to their delight. The swans at the Byodo In Temple are used to tourists and are very friendly and unafraid. xxoo
