Suddenly

Suddenly, the rain begins; Suddenly, I fall. Little pools about my feet -- What more should befall? The heart -- this sail upon my mast, Who at the slightest breeze Leapt from shore for greater lands, Yet I am lost at sea. Oh spirit deep within me, Raise your weary head -- Hold it high to save this night From tears so yet unshed. Falter not, oh daring soul; Raise your hands unbound. Weep in mourning hands no more; Hold all you have found. Tarry but a moment, Rest a moonless night; Dream of dreams that once were all -- All is soon made right.
