Success

Its done,
its done!
Its really, really finally done!!
That mountain piled so high
that stretched beyond my eye
well its no lie ...
its really, really done!
See how I smile in smug success
because, its done!
I did it!!
I did it!!
I did it!!
Hooray for me,
whoop whoopee!!
All that laundry ...
is done!!

With the new age and automatic washers and dryers, even I can do the wash. (Of course I have a hard time explaining to the guys why my underwear is pink). I guess a red blouse should be in a separate load from the whites and the clorox. Have a great day, Sue. Vince

LOL... Sue this is a hoot, I don't know if I'd have the energy to jump, shout/holler whoopee after tackling a mountain of laundry, lol, but I sure would feel relieved knowing that all was clean and put in its proper place :-) Thank you for sharing such an amusing read and for your welcome comments on my poetry. God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell

Oh having that laundry done is indeed a whippy skippy celebration. Having teens, it's only done for a moment then sweatshirts, jeans, etc take our moment of triumph away. I got a chucke out of this one. I can really relate to this poem. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind words regarding my poetry. Happy Writing!! Kareen
