Under the windowsill Ages dripped across the frosting wood Now snow, the warm touch of a finger Aggravates the soul of a tiger As the pyramids stand absolute amidst a sand storm The Nile runs red with the tears of angels A jolt in the heart’s pulse and the spirits all collapse 'Until the sky falls down,' she says Yet the blue roses I left at her door Speak only of Lila And her song of glorious affliction Though my enlivened crucifixion Speaks softly in thine ears Tethered I remain to this house Mere Reflected
