Stronger
I am stronger now this is true
All this is in thanks to you
You came in and took my love away
Leaving, vowing to come back one day
But when you left you went a new
Now i'll never have my chance with you
It took so much to mend this heart
At first i didn't know quite where to start
But then in a week i felt the pain start to ease
As i look to god i asked him please
If this is love why does it go
Then a thought transpired into something i already know.
What you done was just a phase
And my inner strength is toward god with praise
Though I may have loved i did not lose
The road that follows is now mine to choose.
Im a better person and it's starting to show.
It just took getting hurt for me to learn to grow
