Just taking a stroll today into Spring,
the sky is a lovely shade of azure blue;
and how joyful the birds chirp and sing,
the trees sway and rustle in a peaceful hue.
The sky is a lovely shade of azure blue,
a distant stream is calling, calling my name;
the trees sway and rustle in a peaceful hue,
a view from the shore- like peering into an art frame.
A distant stream is calling, calling my name,
rippling water chatters along its far, far journey;
a view from the shore- like peering into an art frame,
and butterflies drift all twirling, swirling and flirty.
Rippling water chatters along its far, far journey,
I follow the stream until I reach a wildflower meadow;
and butterflies drift all twirling, swirling and flirty,
I am greeted by a symphony of birds like a concert allegro.
I follow the stream until I reach a wildflower meadow,
and how joyful the birds chirp and sing;
I am greeted by a symphony of birds like a concert allegro,
just taking a stroll today into Spring.
