Strength Midst Adversity
Adversity* builds character's tenacity...
revealing persevering virtuous integrity
smiting attacking afflictions' infirmity
with blows of self-pity
midst lurking false humility
in the guise of arrogant sincerity…
while yielding to, trusting and exalting God Almighty*
upon faith's strength intensifying spiritual certainty
against skepticism, apathy and doubt's obscurity
by the Sovereign power's infallibility
marked with compassionate authority.
*Proverbs 24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
