Strength in Me
Shattered dreams
Pieces of what could have been
Broken down by my self doubt
But with in each peace
A memory
A wedding
A beginning
An end
But not
A stronger bound
Better friends then lovers
But these pieces
I thought were failures
Were actual goals
Kids
Love
Aspirations
Not Shattered
But whole
In hope and joy
These shattered dreams
Nothing more Then knowledge
And growth
Lessons in life
Strength in me.
