Strawberry Ice Cream For the Queen of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts was quite fed up.
"The tarts no longer are my scene!
Strawberries should drizzle down
The chin of a dainty Queen.
The tarts are firm and therefore fail
To give the strawberries a chance
To whirl around my mouth nor grant
My royal tongue the will to dance!
So to spare my breath,
My lungs the depth
To scream, "Off with your head!"
By tea and cake
This afternoon,
I want ice cream instead.
What flavour? Dare you ask?
Why strawberry you fool!
This dish must be just as I wish
For your Queen starts to drool."
