Strangers

Dear Stranger, I am not sure what you see in her But she seems to have taken your breath away Captivated all your senses And robbed you of your self healing at the same time She has become your focus, clouding your vision I am just a fleeting thought, no longer enticing And with no inclination to respond Just like that... We were strangers

Your words describe an infamous moment in my lifetime that occurred many years ago. This is decently written.

I like the way you’ve structured your poem and how well it reads. “And with no inclination to respond,“ is a great line. John
