Stranger

You oh stranger are my best of friends You are the one who is always there to dry my agnoized tears You believed in me before I didst believe in myself. You alone understand the scars on my heart, and the cries deep within my soul. You're the one to lift me up when I fall You're the one to cheer me on in a silent crowd You understand my past and long to be my future You love me for all that I am and not that which I appear You're the one to battle for my very life And protect me from even the dangers within myself Oh how I wish you were real You haunt my every dream Making my reality as though it be a horrible nightmare Each day my trials grow into a creature A creature so horrid it would do such harm to my soul. Each night I escape for but one peacfull moment I float into your arms and hear your words Your touch is so strong and protective, Yet light and tender as you hold me close Dear sweet man of my dreams If I could have but one wish It would be that day would ne'r come And each moment with you would last no less than a lifetime I long for a time when my eyes meet yours And You're arms wrap tightly 'round my waist Holding me so close that not even death itself could part us I long for you're sweet kiss of life. That my troubles may be chased away As though they were an unwelcome enemy Driven so far away that they may never come back. I deeply long to hear that which you speak to me words of love and encouragement. Words I have ne'r heard before Words that are sweet music to my ears. Oh gentle stranger, let not your presence withdraw You my sweet love are my dream of dreams Farewell stranger, till we meet again under the still sky and bright ruler of the night Farewell farewell sweet love of my dreams.
