Strange Phenomenon In the Real World

When I affirmed everything I saw
in the world, nothing was there but me.
When I denied everything I have seen
in the world, everything was there but not me.

When I invest meaning on everything
in the world, everything looked precious except me.
When I considered everything under the sun was worthless,
I found my sublime self alone standing in this worthless world;

and that’s why I said to myself
that everything is everything and nothing is nothing,
I found myself wiggling in the universe as an infinitesimal dot.

Although I don’t know the meaning of all those strange phenomena
and have no way to conceive the essence of it, one thing unmistakably clear is;
if it’s not the pride of an overly arrogant one or I have cut loose the ties of the world; still, if that’s not the case,
the submission of a defeated one—a mysterious shadow
I never saw the face of it, which always goes before me.
